Make A Wish

Oh this little silhouette just tugs at my heartstrings.  She is from The Craft's Meow and I adore her.  Makes me want to run outside with my little princess and make lots of dandelion wishes.

Have I ever told you that I am a slow crafter?  I am.  It's tedious sometimes, but I sort-of savor the process and revel in the details.  It's one of the main reasons that I combine challenges... I just can't get to them all individually.  For this card I combined 3 of my favorite places to "play":

This week is a color challenge... loved the shabby-chicness of it.

The sketch inspired me try a long card that measures 4"x 8".
I love the result and plan to package it a large glassine bag for gifting.

And lastly, Wee Memories - Stamp It!
I just think it is too cute that she gives out Hoots and Hoolalas as recognition. ;)

It's a hodge-podge of supplies today, so be sure to check out the supply list.

Stamps: The Craft's Meow - Butterfly Kisses, MFT - alphabet; Dies: Stampin' Up! Top Note, PTI Banner Builder, Nestabilities Classic Ovals, MFT Butterflies; Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye;
Sassy Somethings: Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla grosgrain, PTI wood buttons

you're awesome, you know that? You may craft slowly, but you craft thoughtfully and so beautifully. I love your work. That silhouette is beautiful - and the little clothespin holding the butterfly is a great touch.

What a gorgeous card, Denise. You can tell that you eenjoy the crafting process - I think that's what it should be about, being in the moment and having fun 'playing' with colours and ideas. Always love visiting your blog :)

Your card is lovely, Denise! I'm excited to check out these card challenges. They are new to me. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to read that you are a "slow" crafter! I, too, am a "slow" crafter, but I am truly addicted to all kinds of papercrafting. I've mostly settled on cards because they're a smaller "canvas" to work with. I can literally spend days on one card trying to get it just right. I love your beautiful, creative work, Denise. Thanks for sharing!
